crochet dreams

I posted a while back about being inspired by the ocean. This little 3.5"x4" frame is a thrift store find simply painted and then filled with crocheted pieces.

Today I am feeling inspired. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamt of being a marine biologist so that I could study all the life in the ocean. Since I live in Kansas and doubt I'll ever permanently leave, I'll have to use pictures to turn my dreams into art... here are a few photos I found that inspire more... I'm already brainstorming a few cool ideas...
